The DirectEars TM
SET 100 mono system consists of an infrared transmitter and receiver that
permits cordless television listening without disturbance to others. DirectEar
uses advanced wireless audio technology that allows invisible infrared
lightwaves to travel from an inconspicuous transmitter to a lightweight,
comfortable headset. Since the sound is directed only to the DirectEar user,
everyone around you will be in "their own comfort level" no matter how loud you
adjust the
volume.
NOTE: Not suitable for use with plasma TV screens or in rooms where fluorescent lights are in use. We recommend using the DirectEarsSet 810 models for working with plasma TV screens
