Here we list several Sound Field Systems by various manufacturers. Set-up is generally simple and maintenance is minimal.
It is fair to say cost is indicative of quality in every manner--set-up, interference, channel selection, quality of sound, and consistent signal strength.
This is a long-term and beneficial investment. Choose wisely.

WHY A SOUND FIELD?

Enjoy the benefits of creating a Sound Field in your learning environment. Be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) too.

In its simplest terms, a sound field amplifies and evenly distributes the volume of the speakers voice to 15db above the ambient noise level in the room. The result is an environment in which every member of the audience can hear as if he or she were sitting face to face with the instructor.

The benefits of such an environment are many: Attention span improves, productivity increases and audiences tend to participate more. In short, the more an audience can hear, the more they will learn and retain. Hard of Hearing students may use their own personal receiver, if needed.

Another benefit is to the speaker/teacher. They will not have to raise their voice to be heard. This results in less strain on their voice, less overall fatigue that goes with teaching. Speaker/teachers voice can still be clearly heard even when not facing the audience during times they are writing on the chalkboard, or using an overhead projector, or walking around the classroom.
